Oscar’s Door County Rubber Stamps & Scrapbooking is celebrating 30+ years in Door County. Starting in 1988, proprietor Oscar Hansen has owned several store locations in northeast Wisconsin, but chose Door County as her only location for Door County Rubber Stamps & Scrapbooking, located in her hometown of Sturgeon Bay. Her other stores — Door County Kids and Door County Baby — are both nestled into the Main Street Shops in downtown Egg Harbor.

Oscar’s rubber stamps store was the first such business in Wisconsin. A continuation of a lifelong passion for the arts, design, crafts, and the creative process, the store’s 30,000+ rubber stamp designs are all unique, original art, with many of the images depicting well-known Door County landmarks. All of the rubber stamps are made in-house at her Sturgeon Bay store location and are exclusive to Oscar’s. (Note: the store also has a large selection of Northwood’s rubber stamps that similarly feature original art!)

“Scrapbook your Door County Vacation” has been Oscar’s theme for many years, and she offers the tool to scrapbook your own vacation. By partnering with a Wisconsin printing firm, Baer Printing in Appleton, Oscar has been able to design and professionally print a vast array of custom papers for your use in scrapbooking, card-making and paper arts projects. Oscar encourages YOU to scrapbook your own memories and enjoy a lifetime of creative pleasure with authentic paper designs.
NEW PRODUCTS & TECHNIQUES
Oscar designs and introduces specialized art products and techniques for the constantly-evolving world of artistic craft projects. She attends many of the top crafts trade shows, plus the various rubber stamp and scrapbook conventions, and is an organizer of hugely fun weekend art retreats that feature top arts and crafts instructors from across the U.S. Crafters and artists gather at work tables to learn and share new techniques and skills.
